The 69th season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) launches this Saturday with a softball match between the University of the Philippines (UP) and Ateneo.
The event will kick off with an opening ceremony at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) field in Sampaloc, Manila. The UP-Ateneo softball match will be followed by a battle between the University of the East athletes against UST.
The defending champion in women’s softball, the Adamson Lady Falcons, will be pitted against the Ateneo Lady Eagles in a subsequent match on Wednesday, and not on the opening day, as others expected. The ensuing face off will be between UST and UP players.
The succeeding match are as follows: baseball between team Adamson and UST on Sunday, after which the National University (NU) and Ateneo will vie for the win. On Thursday, the seven-time UAAP champ UP will fight against Adamson University while NU and UST meet on a latter game. Comments :
