Cinema One Originals’ independent digital feature film “Seroks” will be shown at the University of the Philippines (UP) on February 28.
Juliana Palermo and Neil Sese star in this psychological drama set on the grounds of Recto. Palermo plays an intriguing woman who moves into an apartment just above a photocopy shop. Sese is featured as the photocopy machine operator, and the shop is aptly named ‘Seroks’.
The meeting of these two protagonists brings about a series of seemingly related events which reflect the nature and interconnectivity of the human experience. Piracy, fraud and forgery are the key elements in the film’s interesting plot.
Ed Lejano directs the film, which also stars Mystika, Soliman Cruz, Bong Aragon, Lauren Novero, Alchris Galura, Ramon Bautista, Gerry Cornejo, Dyal Chowdhary and Ma. Isabel Lopez. Neil Daza is in charge of cinematography while Amor Olaguer is the line-producer.
“Seroks” is shot entirely in Sony’s HDV format, and will be screened at the UPFI Cine Adarna. Show starts at 5 PM. For ticket inquiries, you may call 9263640. Comments : Add a comment
